Griffey may be near a retirement that will mark the end of a historic career. His legacy on the diamond is that of a first-ballot hall of famer who was maybe the best all around player of his generation. He also leaves behind the Griffey Max 1, which was a smash hit upon its retro release months ago. The model sold very well, and now Foot Locker’s blog reports that Foot Locker locations will be re-releasing the Royal/Black/Volt model sometime next week. If you missed your shot at these the first time around, now is your shot to get a pair.
