KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR GETTING STATUE AT STAPLE CENTER!!

He is the NBA's leading all-time leading scorer, with 38, 387 points. He is a 19-time NBA All-Star, 6-time NBA Champion, 2-time NBA Finals MVP. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has all the stats that are worthy of receiving a statue in his honor in front of Staples Center. The statue will be ready by the opening of the 2012-2013 season. 
Kareem will join Magic, Jerry West, Chick Hearn, Wayne Gretski, and Oscar De La Hoya in front of the "home of Kobe". Kareem was very vocal about not getting a statue before Magic. This did not sit well with the former Lakers center, and now Lakers assistant coach. It was Kareem's attitude (not signing autographs for fans, not taking pictures) that caused the delay. Stats say everything about your game. But your attitude says everything about you as a PERSON. Treat people with respect, carry yourself as such, and you'll receive positive energy in return.
