The Doernbecher series of the Jordan line has a special meaning, to each designer and the sneaker culture alike. This year, the Doernbecher is designed by Oswaldo Jimenez, who is a patient at the Doernbecher Hospital. Every year, Nike gives these kids a chance at living their dream by designing a pair of Jordans. Oswaldo chose to put his artwork on the Jordan IX's, and they came out incredible!
This is the first time in the history of the IX's that we've seen a translucent Gel sole. But there's something about the Gold lace locks and Gold stitching along the side panels. Or, is it the Gold feathers used along the leather going across the top of the midsole and back panel? Either conclusion is absolutely right. These Jordans are definitely bringing up the HEAT LEVEL for the 4th Quarter!! Expect these to drop on November 30th!  Cali "O"
