When you lead the league in 3-point shots, the "machine" we call Nike will hook you up with some nice Player Editions! Ray Allen is one of those guys whose stats are respected, by both fans and players. And with that, Ray can make a phone call to Jordan Brand and ask them to revive some of his favorite Jordans, and transform them into PE's. Opening night, the 3-point King requested a rare pair of Jordan XVI's, in the Miami "Championship" colorway. I mean, LeBron got that colorway in his X's, so why not a don like Ray Allen?
Jordan Brand did a great job, with the Gold/Champagne colored patent leather on the toe box, and tongue. The harness is White Leather with Gold snaps, and red trim. Ray's name is also written in red.
