THROWBACK THURSDAY: HULK HOGAN!!

Back in the early 80's, the World Wrestling Federation had a huge influence on alot of kids from the projects, including me. Bob Backlund, Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant. Even Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka. But none stood in the way of the Hulkster, Hulk Hogan. 
The "24 inch Pythons" and the Rocky Theme song playing as he entered the ring, thats all you ever waited for. Hulk Hogan was the MAIN EVENT. One of his greatest opponents was the Iron Sheik, who was from Iran. I got a chance to see Hulk Hogan wrestle at Madison Square Garden a few times, and I know how lucky I am.
Just the influence Hulk Hogan had on our culture speaks volumes to those of that era. Still a recognized icon, Hulk Hogan will be known as one of the GREATEST champions to ever do it.   #TeamKickGame #ThrowbackThursday
