Kevin Durant kicked off his European Tour on September 3rd, starting in Paris, France. KD will coach and inspire basketball players while in Paris, as well as hit landmarks like the Eiffel Tower. KD will also meet with young Parisian basketball players at le Centquatre (a famous French basketball gymnasium) for a skills challenge.
The tour will then take KD to Milan and Rome, where Durant will participate in his KDI camp in Milan, as well as tour the Nike Stadium (for Soccer) in the same city. From there, KD will hit Space23, a famous footwear spot in Milan, owned by soccer legend Marco Materazzi.
The last leg of the tour will land KD in the famous city of Barcelona, Spain. Well known for the 1992 Olympics, and the cult classic sneakers that were born from that event. Durant will surprise a number of young, aspiring basketball players to join him on the court, where he will participate in a few games on a special court by the beach!
The entire tour is part of KD's "New Season. Are You Ready?" campaign, and to push his KDI camp, which helps develop young players with a passion for basketball around the world. The tour was sponsored by Nike and Foot Locker, and it allowed a number of lucky players to score a pair of KD VI's, with an autograph from KD himself.
Many times, you never get to here what basketball players, like Durant and Kobe, do for kids and young adults that have the same dream as our NBA players. LeBron and Carmelo also do alot of great things outside of their community, with great pride. Salute to KD, for making a difference. Cali "O" #TeamKickGame
