THROWBACK THURSDAY: THE "QUAI 54" JORDAN V'S!!

Thursday, September 26, 2013

One of the rarest pairs of Air Jordan V's are known as the "Quai 54" V's. One of Europe's biggest streetball tournaments, Quai 54 takes place during the last week of June in Paris, France. The tournament has been a huge success since its inception in 2002.

It was 2011, when the world was introduced to the "Quai 54" Air Jordan V's, known as a "Friends and Family" Pack because it was only given to friends and family of Nike designers and execs. Fab performed at the event in 2011, and got blessed with a pair of these exclusives. The Black nubuck suede features a reflector 3M tongue, lime green accents on the lacelocks, and a lime green gel sole to give it that Top-Shelf touch.
With the Quai 54 logo stitched in to the side panel, it gave these kicks the official stamp in a class by itself. You can cop a pair on wesites like FlightClub or eBay, but be prepared to separate with some bread, from $3,000 to $6,000 a pair. Shout to Meek Mill who rocked a pair recently.  Cali "O" #TeamKickGame
