Talented. Gifted. Brilliant. Poetic. Street. Brooklyn. Some of the words used to describe the King of New York, Jay-Z. When you grace the cover of a magazine that Black people generally don't read, you know your playing on a different court. Shawn Carter's interview is the realest shit he's speaking.
Jay covers everything from the drug game, the streets, music, and family. Jay-Z is truly an American Icon.
The flicks above capture Jay's street essence, from 2004 and 2005, respectively.
Countless Awards, millions of records, bringing the Nets to Brooklyn, and he's still not done. Jay is the big brother we always wanted. He's the big homie on the corner giving you great advice to get you off the streets and plan for your future. He's the executive that turns small companies into Fortune 500's. He's also the M.C. who recently gave us "Magna Carta, Holy Grail". Make sure you go cop the November issue of Vanity Fair, so you can read Jay's in-depth interview. The boy is a genius.  Cali "O" #TeamKickGame
