Originally done to celebrate Milan's Design Week, Nike put together the first-ever Aerostatic Dome, supported by nothing more than a helium-filled canopy.
Located at the Palazzo Clerici in Milan, many of Kobe's then upcoming releases of the low top 9's were showcased.
One of the most celebrated colorways of the Kobe 9 low top line is the "Masterpiece". The hi-tops were well done, and sold out instantly. These kicks above are still one of the more anticipated colorways. Many of the low tops started dropping already, in time for the summer.
