The OG that had the sneaker culture buzzin' when they hit the streets in 1998. The Air Jordan XIV's were a design in itself. The dynamics of these kicks were inspired by Michael Jordan's Ferrari Modena, and Tinker Hatfield was at the helm for yet another incredible creation.
Not since the OG Air Jordan VI's did we see the compliments of premium leather and suede on a pair of sneakers. The XIV's were also Jordan's lightest pair of kicks at that time, and brought it back to a low mid from the hi-top Air Jordan XIII's.
The back panel had the most detail, with the Jumpman logo atop the "23" in a Platinum grey, with the black backdrop taking on the impressions of the NBA MVP trophy. The XIV's are still sleek, and clean. As they make their comeback in its original colorway and form, the XIV's are a must have for any sneaker head who knows and understands the science behind these classics. You can catch these at all Jordan retailers for $170 on September 20th. Cali "O" #TeamKickGame
