Nike Air Max LeBron VII x Air Penny 1 – Heroes Pack "New Images"

Saturday, March 27, 2010

These are some New images from the Lebron VII x Penny 1 "Heros Pack". The pack also includes a "Dieon Sanders" inspired Lebron VII. But if I had to pick one I would definetly go with the "Penny" version. That "wrinkled sued" with the "cracked swoosh" on the side..ohh wee!

Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) Heroes Pack Michael Jordan

Thursday, March 25, 2010

The Heroes Pack of Nike Air Max LeBron VII sneakers features LeBron VIIs that have all been touched up to reflect LeBron's personal heroes, which include Deion Sanders, Penny Hardaway, and Michael Jordan. The Michael Jordan Nike Air Max LeBron VII is inspired by the Air Jordan XI and features a Black/Red Air Jordan XI colorway with a Black woven/Black patent upper, a ballistic mesh and patent tongue with a lace stabilizer that links back to the AJ11, a White Swoosh trimmed in Red, a low profile midsole that is done in White, and a Red translucent outsole that features the LeBron VII treading but underneath that, you can see the outsole pattern from the AJXI.
Now the bad news, from what I've been told, these are not going to release and neither is any of the rest of the Heroes Pack. For now, we can just enjoy the pics.

Nike LeBron VII Hero Pack – Deion Sanders & Penny Hardaway

Monday, March 22, 2010

LeBron James is seen as a hero in the eyes of many, but who does LeBron consider to be a hero? Allow these Air Max LeBron VII’s to tell the story about LeBron’s heroes. Today we present you with a first look at the Air Max LeBron VII “Heroes Pack“. The red colorway was inspired by none other than Deion “Primetime” Sanders, Did you know "Lebron James" played Wide Reciver in High School?.The black/blue version represents Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway. "I can definitley see flashes of Penny in Lebron's Game!"
Unfortunately, only a handful of pairs were produced for LeBron James, and a few others(DJ Clark Kent). With that said, these will not release to the public.

DJ Clark Kent x Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) – ‘112′ Edition

Friday, March 19, 2010

DJ Clark Kent has made a nice size-13 imprint in the sneaker culture with his DJCK colorway on some classic Nikes. The 112 Pack that released a two years back showcased the now trademark combination of black, neon green, elephant print, and 3M that was absolutely “bananas” (for lack of more appropriate word). Check out the DJ Clark Kent Air Max LeBron VII that features the same 112 treament; 3M outline of the Flywire panel, a neon green full-length Air Unit, elephant print on the ankle, and trail-inspired laces tie up the loose ends. Kinda remind of you of the LeBron VII Dunkman, doesn’t it? There’s no word on a release yet, but continue reading for a refresher of the last 112 pack and let us know; which 112 release is king? via DJCK.

Thursday, March 4, 2010

After bringing the Air Griffey Max 1 out of the archive, Nike is going in a different direction with their second retro release from the Griffey line. Where the Griffey 1 was more of a turf/cleated trainer silhouette, Nike is set to release the Griffey Max GDII which is more of an off-season running trainer silhouette. The Nike Air Griffey Max GDII is set to release in several colorways starting this month with the Black/Red GDII. The Black/Red Air Griffey Max GDII features a Black textured leather upper with Red accents in the logos and the Visible Air Unit.

Nike Air Max LeBron VII “6ucci” Customs

Monday, February 15, 2010

During a game against the Miami Heat back in November 2009, Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers saw his idol Michael Jordan sitting in the stands and made a decision right then and there. If the NBA wasn’t going to retire Jordan’s number he was going to do whatever he could to start a movement getting those wearing the number 23 to give it up in honor of his Airness. Lebron even vowed to lead the charge by dropping his #23 next season for the #6, his Olympic number.
In light of this news 1OF Customs took the opportunity to customize an Air Max Lebron VII with representation of the #6 Lebron plans to wear. Dubbed “6ucci” 1OF Customs gave the sneakers a Gucci-esque color scheme of Green/Red/Black and incorporated a pattern of black 6’s throughout the diamond pattern created by the Flywire upper. Simply done buy yet very effective. With or without the 6’s the Lebron VII doesn’t look half bad in a Gucci colorway.
