I remember I having the "Green/Purple" joints & feeling like, "Nobody can tell me anything about Kicks!". Then this kid named "Tarz Youngblood" came to school with the "Black/Purple" Carnivore's + a pair of black "Karl Kani" jeans with the "purple" signature on the pocket...Maaaaan I had to go home & regroup!! lol, ahh the "Good Old Days".
