The year was 1990. Nike was taking off because of the Air Jordan. But there was another athlete on the horizon of greatness, Bo Jackson. Bo is legendary for playing two sports at one time, but he is also known for his signature kicks, the Bo Trainer I.
With a unique design scheme, and dynamic detail, the Bo Trainers flew off the shelf at Nike retailers around the world. The hood was buzzin' wit these too!Complete wit the Air Bubble, the outer ankle-padding and infared colorway ( both borrowed from the Jordan VI's, which was poppin' at the time), the gray suede detail overlaying the back of the sneaker, and the orange lace-lock straps for the laces made the Bo Trainers a big deal in 1990.
Now, we just got word the Bo's are makin' the comeback in 2009. No exact date yet, but KICK GAME will keep you tuned in for this top-shelf release....Melo
