The Marty McFly Hyperdunks were 1 of the most sought after pair of kicks in '08. They were the first pair designed by Nike that had the "Glow in the Dark" sole and Swoosh, way before the Yeezys.
A year later, Nike is trying to remix the McFly joints wit the Hypermax and SB1's (pictured right above this post.) The Hypermax does no justice to the OG's. With a soft cloth-like material, no glow-in-the-dark sole, and a strap. There is nothing RICH about this new version.
Bottom line, the OG Hyperdunks actually set a precedence for where the Air Yeezy is today. I believe Kanye was paying a tribute to the kicks made famous by the movie with his design. The release of the McFlys were limited, and they are still RICH in price, quality, and design.
Marty and Doc would be disappointed to know that the remix isn't better than the original song. Maybe their makin' the Hypermax for Biff! Ha! Just in case you didn't know, the McFlys were designed for the dude whose taking us BACK TO THE FUTURE! Come on, you know who the best is. Nuff said...Melo
