In its year-long commemoration celebrating the franchise 25th anniversary,
Jordan Brand, along with
Nike, will honor 3 different colleges for their roles in the history of basketball. In part because they uphold the tradition of the game plus their propagation of the sport, Jordan Brand select Georgetown Hoyas, Cal Golden Bears, and Michael Jordan’s alma mater, University of North Carolina (UNC) Tarheels, to receive the franchise’s Silver Anniversary Collection. Given to each player on the respected college’s basketball squad will be a pair of Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary Edition. In addition, a specially designed team outfits, bearing the college’s insignia along with the Jordan Brand Silver Anniversary theme, will giving to each player as well. Each college pack will make its debut on the following game days right before the crucial March Madness.
