The 2010-2011 NBA season tipped off Tuesday night!. The Lakers officially started there quest for the franchises 17th championship & "Mr Kobe Bryant's" 6th championship. Before the game started the Lakers were presented with their "Championship Rings". For this historical event Kobe unveiled the " Nike Zoom Kobe V (5 Rings)" these shoes are super limited & released exclusively at select LA retailers like Undefeated & the Nike Vault at the Staple Center.

As usual Nike turns this into a major event with the release of the Zoom Kobe V (5 Rings) with "Limited Edition Humidor Box" . This box features premium wood & gold inserts, a built in humidor, & Black Mamba laser print on the inner face of the box lid. A special storage bag is included & "5 Ring" cigar t-shirt (NIIIIIIICE!!!!!!). This $500 package is sold exclusively at the NIKE VAULT inside the Staple Center.

These are the Zoom Kobe V- "5 Rings".. These are Zoom Kobe IV (4)- "4 Rings" these were nothing to sleep on.

Kobe fans will have the opportunity to cop the Nike Zoom Kobe V "5 Rings" very soon. Much like the Zoom Kobe IV(4) "4 Rings" the shoes feature a purple/yellow gradient color scheme. However this time its only featured on the sole of the shoe, & the upper is covered with "5 Ring Graphic Print". The insole features the letters "MVP" to represent, you already know..

I liked the "4 Rings" but I Love the "5 Rings"!. The Zoom Kobe V's are way more sleek, their almost seamless design always looks clean. Even when you add the graffiti like graphic design their still "clean". Stay tuned for info as it comes in.
