It was February 9th, 2002. All-Star Weekend in Philly. Before the game, Jordan, who was wearing the White low-top 9's, and Kobe, wearing his Kobe Two "All-Star" edition (or "USA" edition) having a casual basketball conversation with Antoine Walker in the back. From the look on Antione's face, maybe Kobe told Jordan he was taking the MVP. Jordan has a look on his face like, "we'll see."
We all know the outcome. Kobe took the MVP in his hometown, to utter amazement.
