Bape – Classics Second Edition Capsule Collection

To iconic Japanese label, Bape, is in it’s 18th year of existence and to pay tribute to their anniversary, the brand unveils a rare collection dubbed as the Bape Classics Second Edition. The collection consists of rare pieces from the past 18 years which are now being re-released in it’s original style with a little bit of change. Expected to drop this month, the range includes a varsity jacket (featured above), down jackets, tote bags, sneakers, sweaters and chinos.

BAPE Pirate Store in New York City Grand Opening Info

This Friday, August 26th at 91 Greene St, New York, A Bathing Ape will open a BAPE Pirate Store that will offer an incredible 50% off discount on BAPE merchandise from Friday, August 26th to Sunday, August 28th. In addition to selling mens, women, and children products, the BAPE Pirate Store will also sell BAPE merchandise originally available only in Japan. The BAPE Pirate Store will be open for business this coming Friday at noon until 7pm.

Bape Slip-Off – New Images + BAPE x New Era – Bapesta Cap

I'm not really a Vans kind of dude, "Vans" remind me of "Keds"!. I remember in elementary school when a kid would come in wearing "Keds" we called them "Bruce Lee" shoes!LMAO (That's Still Funny!!). However Bape has thrown in their spin of the "Canvas Shoe" with the release of these new Bape Slip Off's!. The lightning Bape strikes stitched into the shoes are nice the shoes also have a vulcanized sole. But the plot thickens! Bape also dropped matching fitted New Era fitted hats to go with the shoes. R&B artist Omarion was spotted in a gold Bape x Ambush necklace ($195), which has a design inspired by the “Mad Science” theme. The necklace was created due to the collaborative effort between the two Japan based labels – A Bathing Ape and Ambush Design – for Spring 2010. The collection features an emphasis on fine menswear that includes suits, shirts, and ties. It’s fair to say that the Mr. Bathing Ape Collection by United Arrows is an attempt from BAPE to cater to a new consumer or an old consumer whose grown up over the years and needs apparel that speaks to their age or career. The Mr. BATHING APE by United Arrows Spring/Summer 2010 Collection can be purchased now at select United Arrows doors in Japan.

Adding to the new Baby Milo collection for Kids, designers at BAPE (or A Bathing Ape) also added a matching footwear to the previously mentioned the Baby Milo All Safari Day Pack, the Baby Milo All Safari Kid’s APESTA Hi. Identical all-over & overlapping graphics of Baby Milo and his troupe of A~Z Safari friends, screen-printed onto cotton canvas. All composed on top of white rubber outsole. In case the “little ones” are still learning how tie their shoelaces, the APESTA Hi has a side zip entry in addition to the lace-up for easy of access.
