 This story was just hit so close to home especially since I own the very same belt that 19 year old Treyon Christian was  humiliated & detained for BUYING from Barneys. When I talk it's coming from a authentic perspective. I'm not just running my mouth. Mines was purchased at Sax but the same thing absolutely could have happened.

Peace World! It's me.. I've been out here in NYC takin care of everyday Business & my family. Shout Out To My Real Life Brother "Cali O" aka "Da BX O.G.". He's been doin a great job with the site from where he lives in CALIFORNIA.

  Now me I'm out here in the thick of "The Concrete Jungle".. NYC dealing with REAL SHIT  everyday. Today I've been expressing my disappointment in Jay-Z's decision to  continue with his Barneys clothing collection (via Instagram & Facebook). I know Jay-Z isn't a politician or president of the USA. But I do know that Jay-Z is the most influential man in our culture. When I say "Our Culture" I'm talkin this hip hop lifestyle that we live. The way you walk,talk,dress, the haircut you have..(That "Ace Of Spade" You wish You Could Afford!) Etc.

  It's been a tuff year for the African America community. And if your like me you had to do some explaining to your children about society. Jay-Z is a well respected Black Man. I mean he walked down the isle with Beyonce 30 seconds before the President began his inauguration  ceremony. This Barneys situation was his chance to make stand for us.

   Instead he dropped some $2,600 leather boxing shorts. I'm not gonna go on all night but I will tell you this. I ACTUALLY BUY HIS MUSIC.I ACTUALLY GO TO HIS CONCERTS. I'VE SPENT RACKS & RACKS ON TICKETS OVER THE YEARS. I TRAVEL TO THE BRONX TO BUY 3 $50 JAY-Z YANKEE HATS! LMAOO I CAN GO ALL NIGHT.

   I've been great! As you can see I'm still reporting to you live from these NYC streets. This little back entrance looked so gritty I had to take a flick!. They're rapidly  trying to turn Brooklyn into Soho.

   "The Sneaker Game".... Wow! I've seen  it go through many changes but right now it's at a all time high, as far as EVERYBODY claiming to be "about that life!. Jordan's drop every single Saturday & Foamposites now come with pictures on them. Yes my friends the game has changed. 

     Always remember, forget what the blogs & magazines say about the shoes. Your the master if your domain. "Buy what you like!". Also a lot of people don't realize the different between "limited" & "exclusive". Just because a shoe is "limited edition" doesn't make it  exclusive.

So pretty much every sneaker store I go into still has a full size run of the Black/Red/Metallic Silver Air Jordan V's that dropped last week. This really puzzles me, because these kicks are one of the most official Sneakers (Not Jordan's, SNEAKERS) ever!.

I have seen the sneaker game change so much over the past two decades. "I remember when sneakers used to sell because they were HOT!", Not because it's a (EASILY FORGOTTEN) "BIN23" or a "QUAI54" & the brand has decided to release "23 pairs".

What a lot of you cats who use the word "HEAT" need to learn is the difference between "Limited" & "Exclusive". Just because your kicks are Limited doesn't make them Exclusive.

"I'm Sorry JR - I've Already Ruined Ya...."

People often ask me why do I spend so much money on my kids. Well in a nut shell, "I spend $200 & better on my kicks, $180 & better on my jeans & so on". Aside from my personal spending habits I grew up always having nice things & so did there mom. So when we give him what we had plus what we didn't have...Sheesh. However I will say that he has to earn most of the things he gets, either through good grades or good behavior.

It's crazy that at 7 years old he remembers already having a couple of the same Jordan's before. I took a few of his baby/toddler kicks out of the closet, peep it.

When I speak on things I didn't get as a kid, right next to my Batman big wheel comes the Michael Jordan jersey that I didn't get until I bought it with my own money at 16 years old.

So when my lil man asked me for his favorite players jersey I was more that happy to make that happen. Yes, that's the whole collection. Now he wants a Kobe jersey with the number 8 on it.

After he met Kevin Durant at House Of Hoops in Harlem last year it was a wrap. KD is Jolo' s 2nd favorite player in the NBA. Watching the "Dallas Mavericks" beat both of his teams (The Lake Show & OKC) was too real. Needless to say he strongly dislikes Dirk & company now.
Summer is flying by so fast he hasn't even got to wear his "Penny" jersey. I was trying to find him a pair of "Penny's" in his size (2Y) but I had no luck.
It ain't over I'm still looking for the right pair of kicks for him to bang with his jersey!.

It was a hectic day to say the least but definitely worth it. I went out there to get a drop from Jada but when I got up there Best Buy security was acting like @$$holes! STILL SMH. As you guys should know by now Jadakiss is one of my favorite rappers ever (Hands down Top 5 Dead or Alive) . Lesson learned the next time I meet "The Black Babe Ruth" I'll be extra ready!. It still was a honor & pleasure to meet him & have him autograph his "Rookie Card" for me!. I was happy with that but he was so cool he even autographed the new cd for me too. I can't wait for his next album!.
