We’ve caught a preview of a few Air Jordan 6 Retro’s which will release within the coming months, and now thanks to SneakerFiles we’ve got a sneak peek a pair of IX sporting a color scheme inspired by that of the Hornets. Why a Hornets colorway you ask? I’m not sure to be honest but maybe it has something to do with the fact Jordan and the Bulls knocked the Charlotte Hornets outta round 1 of the 1995 NBA Finals in 4 games. Whether that has anything to do with the color choice who knows, who cares, you either like em or you don’t. In my opinion they aren’t bad but the contrast stitching on the upper could throw em off for some people. Just the accents on the inner lining and lace loops with darker shade on the outsole would of been good in my book, without the contrast stitching.
According to reports the sneakers are just a pair of samples at this time and aren’t actually confirmed for an official release so there’s still run for some changes. Stay tuned for further details.
