Kevin Durant is having an MVP caliber season. His streak of 25+ point games, his All-Star selection, his leadership of the very young Oklahoma City to a 35-23 record that placed the team only 3.5 games back of the Nuggets, are all testament to the fact that Durant is coming into his own in only his third year in the league.
To commemorate the stellar year that Durant has had thus far, Nike Basketball blessed KD with two pairs of Air Force 1s during his recent visit to the House of Hoops in Harlem. The two size 17 Air Force 1s feature a laser print that links back to KD's milestones this season including his first All-Star selection, his season stats, and his stats in the All-Star game. The laser print also features the KD logo in a monogram style. The KD Air Force 1s were done in Black pair and a White pair with the alternating laser pattern on both. In addition to the kix, Nike Basketball also created a White acrylic box to house them. The box reads "Pure Commitment" which is also under the strap on the Nike KDII.
