KD VI NYC "66" - RELEASE INFO

  During the 2011 NBA lockout Kevin Durant popped up at NYC's Rucker Park & dropped bucket after bucket. At the end he had 66 points & the win. To commemorate his historic NYC performance Nike will release the KD VI "NYC 66" this Saturday. The orange/steel   color scheme represents KD's EBC basketball uniform.

CHRISTMAS DAY PACK 2011!!!

The Christmas Day Pack 2011 is here!! Releasing at midnight tonight, Kevin Durant, LeBron, Kobe, and Amar'e will be releasing their signature sneakers for the Christmas Day games. Amar'e is the newest edition this year, being a key player for the Knicks. Nike blessed Amar'e with the Air Max "Sweep-Thru" with the Green and Red colors we are accustomed to seeing now on Xmas Day, on the feet of our favorite players.

The KD IV "Coppers" are a little different, stepping into a new arena for KD. They keep the uniform red laces, but the shoe itself speaks to the Foamposite One "Copper" release in 2010. SNEAKER BATTLE: KD IV "NERF" vs. LEBRON 9 "NERF!!

When we see a custom pair of kicks that deserves a nod, we go in!! Here, we have the KD IV "Nerf" kicks, which dropped last week. Not to be outdone, Mache Custom Kicks put together a nice array of colors to match on the LeBron 9's that came very close to the KD IV's.

NEXT: Nike Zoom KD IV – “Weatherman” – Detailed Look

We now have detailed live pictures of the Nike Zoom KD IV – “Weatherman”. When KD was growing up, he wanted to work as a weatherman. Is the “Weatherman” actually better than the “Nerf”? The “Weatherman” features a Black Strap with contour lines and a Volt swoosh. The upper is draped in Green with Red, Green, and Yellow (symbolizing the temperature indicators on a weather forecast) along the heel with more contour lines. The translucent outsole continues the theme with a clever image with Red, Green, Yellow in a shape of a foot. "Doppler Radar" style!. Stay tuned for more info on these babies.

Nike Zoom KD IV “Nerf” Edition

The KD 4 “Nerf” Edition features a blue, pink, neon green color palette reminiscent of the Nerf equipment many of us have grown to love during our childhood. Door attached basketball hoops and small foam mock basketballs were a staple for kid wanting to immolate their favorite hoop star and now that same novelty is packaged along with the KD 4 seen here. These are set to release sometime in November so stay tuned for more info. If you pick up any KD 4′s this year, these come highly recommend because “It’s Nerf or nothing”.

What would happen if DC’s own Kevin Durant’s Nike signature model was a Foamposite shoe? Well, Kevin Durant thinks that might be a good idea if Nike made a Foamposite KD IV.

Here’s what Durant said:

“I told Nike to make a Foamposite pair of the KD IV,” Durant said. “Hopefully people in DC will pick them up and support me. They always do that anyway but I’m sure if I throw some foams out there they will do it even more.”

Nike Flight 35 Kevin Durant T-Shirts+ Kevin Durant's Insane Throwdown!

Kevin Durant led the Oklahoma City Thunder on an impressive run deep into the NBA Playoffs this season. At just 22 years old, he’s undeniably one of the greatest players in the game, and with a trip to the Conference Finals this year, we can expect KD to take OKC even further in the future.

To commemorate Durant’s latest accomplishments, including his scoring title, Nike has created the “Flight 35″ t-shirt collection. Nike Zoom KD III “All-Star”

The names of the starting 5 players for the NBA "All Star Game" were named & Kevin Durant aka "KD" was name one of the five. His latest shoes the Nike KD III just received the All Star treatment (all the way down to the box). The shoes are all red to match his "West" uniform. No word on a release date yet but I figure it'll be around All Star weekend, Stay Tuned!!.

Nike Zoom KD III - "MLK" (Martin Luther King Jr.)

The Black History Month Collection shoes are partially in tribute to the black shoes worn by basketball pioneer's during the "60's". The metallic gold hits are meant to give it a modern spin & reflect the pioneer's call to greatness. Woodcut-textured African American handcraft is a nod to classic African American art.

While no release information for the "BHM" is currently available, we will see KD wear these Monday (MLK Day) when they play the Lakers.
