The sneaker game is crazy right now!! First, we'd like to apologize to all our loyal followers for being away so long! We've been on the move with everyday life, and also trying to update our website to keep you all engaged. With that, let's get into the new saga on the streets! Word is, Nike and Jordan Brand changed their release date for the Air Jordan XI "72-10's", which were scheduled to drop on December 19th. Apparently, the date changed because Kanye and Adidas are droppin' the new "Black Crack" Yeezy Boost 750's on the same day!
Above is a flick of Kanye rockin' the sample version of his upcoming Adidas release. As you can see, the sample version featured a gumsole, and the Black colorway wasn't as deep and brilliant as the final version.
When Travi$ Scott threw up this photo of his early "Christmas gift" from Kanye, the sneaker culture went bananas. The all-Black colorway features a richness to the suede upper, complimented by a deep Black sole. The strap is a Yeezy signature, giving these kicks its usual flair.
KickGame DVD was one of the FIRST to tell you that Adidas was on the rise, to take back its top position in the sneaker world. Signing Kanye to a deal was one of the smartest and brightest things the German sneaker giant could've done. Kanye keeps ears to the streets when it comes to sneakers, and proved his worth with both Nike and Louis Vuitton, respectively. Nike did a huge disservice by letting Yeezy go, and his absence is felt. Nike just signed LeBron James to a "lifetime" sneaker deal, worth close to $800 Million, sources say. But, the question is, does LeBron have the POWER to keep fans tuned in to Nike like Kanye? I doubt it. The Yeezy 2's, the "Red Octobers" to be specific, are one of the BEST sneaker releases in history, if not the BEST. Kany definitely jumped over the Jumpman, and landed comfortably at Adidas.
There's no question with the saturation of Jordans on the market, that Nike will, in fact, continue to make money. There's a new generation of sneakerheads, with some eager to cop EVERY release, while the others are getting schooled by the OG's. With Nike and Jordan Brand changing the release date for the Air Jordan XI's, it shows, not only the new refreshing momentum that Adidas is regaining, but it also allows us to get a glimpse that the once powerful machine may soon be running out of oil. The Air Jordan XI "72-10's" drop on December 12th, with the Yeezy Boost 750 droppin' the following Saturday, December 19th. Keep it locked right here to KickGame DVD, your source for the best in the sneaker culture! Cali "O" #KickGameDVD #WeAreBack #LikeWeNeverLeftYou #Official
