Kanye is lettin' everybody know his new Yeezy 2's is comin'! The detail in these kicks are so crazy, lets explore.
We see the back panel, wit the 3-D Nike emblem on top of the snakeskin. We see the eagle-eye symbol on the tongue, and the heiroglyphics which adorn the strap across the laces. The mesh material on the top front panel for breathability, the exclusive Yeezy lace tips, and the Glow-In-The-Dark sole which comes up along the front of the sneaker.
Yeezy definitely put in work on his 2nd installment. Look for these joints on April 28th, droppin for $250. Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #WeDoIt4Real

ANOTHER LOOK: KOBE VII "ELITE"!!

Sunday, March 11, 2012

Here is another look at the Kobe VII "Elite" joints. I can definitely see myself in a pair right here. The detail of the elevated "Mamba Skin" that wraps around the entire front panel of these kicksare done with precision. The Gold Swoosh gives it the RICHNESS needed to finish it off the right way.
The "Elite" kicks drop on April 20th. Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #WeReady

FIRST LOOK: THE KOBE VII "ELITE"!!

Saturday, March 3, 2012

Slated for a April 20th release, Nike introduces us to the Kobe VII "Elite". At first glance, these kicks remind us of the Kobe VI's, with the reptilian/snakeskin "3-D" feel that elevates from the sneaker. The colorway reminds us of the VI's "Black History Month" edition from 2011.
Still in all, the "Elite" VII's are definitely in a class by themselves. The Black/Gold colorway is simple, but rich. The detail put into the shoe itself is Top-Shelf, indeed. Look for these in late April, right in time for Playoffs! Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #YouLikeItILoveIt

But wait...the plot thickens!! We get a look at something we've never seen before, the All-White Foamposites! Penny said he asked Nike to do an all white version for him, and he gets an overwhelming response every time he throws them on. I'm sure we can expect to see these in the future as well. Now all we need is Penny back on the court! Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #WeAllStars

Kobe VII, KD IV, and LeBron 9 "BHM"

KD IV "BHM"

Kobe VII's "BHM"

Air Force One "BHM"
Nike officially unveiled its heralded "Black History Month" collection, and there is a few jewels among them!! The number one pick of this collection for me, is the AF1. This year, they did it a little different. The clean, brown/black nubuck suede combo is nice, and the stitching around the Swoosh gives it a fresh look. The "Tribe Called Quest" colorway on the lace tips is a nice touch.
Look for the collection to become available on February 11th. Let KickGame DVD know which joints is on ya radar!! Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #BlackPower

KOBE VII "BLACK HISTORY MONTH"!!

Wednesday, February 1, 2012

Settin' off Black History Month the right way, the much anticipated Kobe VII's "BHM" joints will be droppin' on Feb. 11th. This is the first shot we've seen, which gives us alittle detail into what we can expect. The African-inspired print, using the native red, black, and green colorway can be seen on the front top panel of the sneaker. Tribal-infused colors were used on the inside throughout. It looks like a gel sole completes this sneaker. Nike and Kobe's lead designer, Eric Avar, have been doing it big for the past few years with "BHM" releases.
Also, look out for Kobe's Spring line dropping this month as well. Peep his new Rugby (pictured above) thats crazy. Nike is definitely turning up the heat this month! Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #BlackHistory

BEN BALLER'S ICES THE CONCORD 11'S!!

Tuesday, January 31, 2012

Ben Baller is known in Hip-Hop culture. Not only is he a true sneaker head and a DJ who loves Hip-Hop, he is also the main jeweler to many celebrities. A Los Angeles native, Ben shows us his love for the "Concord Craze" by icing out the 11's with a platinum finish.
The details in this one is truly top-shelf, from the laces to the gel-soles wit ice in the heel and toe! You can't mention diamonds out here in L.A. without sayin' Ben's name. Salute to a true Baller, who did these sneakers justice! Cali "O"

NIKE VAULT @ STAPLES CENTER MAKES ROOM FOR NEW KOBE SYSTEM!!

Tuesday, January 24, 2012

Staples Center was crazy yesterday! I got invited to check out the Clippers vs. Raptors in the V.I.P Suite (where the classic painting of Jordan's "Last Shot" was taken.) Before I went in to the game, I decided to check my people at Nike Vault, which is attached to Staples. From the outside walking over from Nokia Live, you can see how the Vault is promoting its star player with the new Kobe System.
We took a look inside, and they changed the entire layout of the store. I noticed they've been changing the theme everytime number 24 puts out a new pair of kicks.

For the Kobe VII's, the theme is taken from the Museum of Natural History. As you walk in, it has a museum-like feel to it, with sketches of the Kobe VII next to a particular animal that it was patterned after. The Shark and Cheetah theme were especially highlighted, with both animals on big display being made from Kobe VII Supreme shoe boxes! Straight bananas!

The Vault is also stepping up a nother level. You can now make an appointment to go inside the V.I.P room to customize your Kobe gear, including Destroyer Jackets and Kobe I.D.'s This is similar to BeSpoke in NYC, but on a much grander scale! Custom Kobe Tees can be made on the spot. More pics to come later from inside Staples Center's V.I.P. Suite!! Cali "O" #TeamKickGame #InDaStreets #Coast2Coast
