The VI's are special in itself, being "His Airness" first Ring-winning shoe. The Olympic version was so limited when they first dropped as a QuickStrike(back in the 90's!) it was hard to get your hand on a pair.

The execs at Jordan Brand heard what you wanted this year, and the "Olympics" are on the list!! Also making a comeback are the Olympic 7's, and the Olympic 6/7 Pack. We all know about Drake's love for Jordans. We also know he has the "inside connect" when it comes to gettin' them early! Toronto's Own decided to mash thru Los Angeles (75 degrees) this past week wearing the Retro Air Jordan 4's in the Black/Cement color scheme.

Nike Trainer Max 97 Returns with New Cool Grey Volt Colorway

The Nike Trainer Max 97 has officially been unvaulted and is available now on [Eastbay.com] in a new Cool Grey/Volt colorway. The Nike Trainer Max was originally part of Nike's 90s Max Air Trainer line and is part of the same family as the Nike Trainer Max2 94. The design of the sneaker screams late 90s and although the colorway is new, it too has a late 90s feel. The Cool Grey/Volt Nike Air Trainer Max 97 features a Cool Grey nubuck and Neutral Grey leather upper with Volt accents.

Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” – New Detailed Photos

This time AGS hits us with a fresh batch of photos uncovering the finer details of the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald”, which is scheduled to release later this summer. An original colorway inspired by the Seattle Marines, the sneakers feature a black and emerald green nubuck upper above a black sole with hits of white on the branding and around the Air pockets.

An exact release date for the Nike Air Griffey Max 1 “Emerald” has yet to be announced, but its believed they’ll touchdown sometime in August. Get a detailed look at the sneakers below and stay tuned for further release info.

Fila Cage Returns Spring 2012

Fila cracks open their vault to bestow upon us a forgotten classic The Cage. The Cage originally released in 1993 at the height of Air Mania and the Pump wars. It’s a forgotten classic of a creative and diverse time period in sneakers. The Cage is back with a minor cosmetic change, the cage portion of which it takes its name from is now made of comfortable thick memory foam, instead of its original hard plastic. Expect the Fila Cage to drop Spring 2012.

Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver

Out of the five upcoming Air Jordan 5 releases, only one is an original model. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver is the only OG version of the AJ5 that’s scheduled to be released this year, but it won’t be the first time they’re returning to retailers. Originally released back in 1990 when the Air Jordan 5 was first introduced, the Air Jordan 5 Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver has been retro’ed twice since, once in 2000 and again in 2007. In terms of differences between the retro’s, the Jumpman logo on the heel appears in white instead of black and Jordan’s former number, 23, is embroidered on the outer heel which was included on the 2007 retro but not the 2000 retro or the original 1990 model. It’s also been reported that this year’s release has a softer suede material throughout the upper than the previous retro models. While we wait for an official release date to reveal itself.
