THROWBACK THURSDAY!! THE JORDAN 11 LOW I.E. (OG)!!

I remember I had these joints. Summer 1996, on my way to Great Adventure. LL and Case were performing out there. Mad shorties all over. I had the freshest pair of kicks on that day.

These are definitely one of my favorite pairs of kicks of all time. The colorway, the design, and the comfort put the Jordan 11 Low I.E. in Cobalt/Zen Grey at the top of my list. Back in '96 it was different to see a pair of kicks with the gel bottoms, and vents throughout the elephant-skin for breathability. Nike Air Trainer Max 96 – Black/Obsidian/Canyon Gold – Now Available

Do you remember these joint's?. The Nike Air Trainer Max 96's are true high tops. Although they might look quite bulky at first glance. On foot they have a very sleek looking toe box similar to the "Air Max 95's". They remind me of a high top Air Max 95.

Air Jordan 12 Will Return In 2012...

Next year Jordan Brand will be releasing the Air Jordan 12 in three original colorways. As for the "Black/Red" (Flu Game) colorway only time will tell if they'll be released too. Stay tuned to KickGameDVD.com for more info.

Nike Air Max2 Uptempo Black/White – Holiday 2011

Don't forget Nike will be releasing the OG "Midnight/Duke" color scheme..
In addition to the original Midnight colorway, Nike will be releasing the "Black/White" Air Max2 Uptempo. This new "Black/White" version is a lil different than the 1995 OG. The original "Black/White" was all suede. However I'm very excited to see them return.

Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver

Out of the five upcoming Air Jordan 5 releases, only one is an original model. The Air Jordan 5 Retro Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver is the only OG version of the AJ5 that’s scheduled to be released this year, but it won’t be the first time they’re returning to retailers. Originally released back in 1990 when the Air Jordan 5 was first introduced, the Air Jordan 5 Black/Varsity Red-Metallic Silver has been retro’ed twice since, once in 2000 and again in 2007. In terms of differences between the retro’s, the Jumpman logo on the heel appears in white instead of black and Jordan’s former number, 23, is embroidered on the outer heel which was included on the 2007 retro but not the 2000 retro or the original 1990 model. It’s also been reported that this year’s release has a softer suede material throughout the upper than the previous retro models. While we wait for an official release date to reveal itself.
