Air Jordan III ‘Oregon’

What do the Air Jordan III and the University of Oregon have in common? None other than Tinker Hatfield. Hatfield was picked up Nike after he graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Architecture, and the Air Jordan III was his first design of the Air Jordan, beginning a string of sneaker designs that are considered to be some of the greatest of all time. Here's a look at the Air Jordan III 'Oregon' - an Air Jordan III with the school's logo and branding around the shoe. The tongue features the domineering 'O' logo while the heel features a playful logo of ducks feet instead, and the upper also shows a funky circular logo. The Nike Zoom Huarache TR Mid is set to release in the next couple months. I'm really Loving this shoe & these new images of the "NCAA Pro Combat Pack" just increased my attraction to the shoes. We caught D.C. rapper wearing a pair of these in a Oregon State looking pair. Ohio State is my team but I'm really-really feeling the Texas-Christian University colorway. No word on a exact release date yet but I'll keep you posted.

Modeled after the classic Powder Blue Air Jordan IX, the University Blue Air Jordan Retro IX features a White smooth leather upper, a University Blue midsole, and Black accents.
The University Blue Air Jordan Retro IX is set to release later this Summer.

Jordan Brand Silver Anniversary - Air Jordan 2010 + College Team Uniforms

In its year-long commemoration celebrating the franchise 25th anniversary, Jordan Brand, along with Nike, will honor 3 different colleges for their roles in the history of basketball. In part because they uphold the tradition of the game plus their propagation of the sport, Jordan Brand select Georgetown Hoyas, Cal Golden Bears, and Michael Jordan’s alma mater, University of North Carolina (UNC) Tarheels, to receive the franchise’s Silver Anniversary Collection. Given to each player on the respected college’s basketball squad will be a pair of Air Jordan 2010 Silver Anniversary Edition. In addition, a specially designed team outfits, bearing the college’s insignia along with the Jordan Brand Silver Anniversary theme, will giving to each player as well. Each college pack will make its debut on the following game days right before the crucial March Madness.

Looks like Eastbay is where you can get your hands on the Grey Pack of the popular shoe.
While the University of Kentucky’s color way isn’t up for grabs Ohio State, Memphis and Syracuse are all included in the drop that includes a grey patent leather upper with the school’s colors on the swoosh, outsole, visible air sole and other places. These should hold you over for the time being while you lament the sting of those UK flavored joints.

Nike Zoom Kobe V – USC Team PE

The Nike Zoom Kobe V is definitely a great looking shoe and with the right color way it’s pretty unstoppable. So seeing a pair with the USC makeover is definitely a good look in general.
The shoes upper is done in Trojan red with snakeskin and nubuck composing the majority of the upper while gold accents lace the swoosh and laces. The heel hosts the schools initials right above the signature Kobe heel cap. There is no set release date for these yet but chances are when they do drop it will be at a House of Hoops locations.
