Nike Air Jordan Retro 2 White/Black/Varsity Red Releasing May 2010

The Nike Air Jordan Retro 2 ($135) white/black/varsity red was originally released in 1986 and later retroed in 1994. After a decade they made their return to the sneaker world in March of 2004. Now this classic Nike Air Jordan Retro 2 sneaker is set to be released once again on May 1st 2010. Peep the pictures of Michael Jordan sporting the Jordan 2’s from the 1986-87 NBA season.

Nike Zoom Kobe V (5) – Shannon Brown – Slam Dunk Contest PE Alternate

The dunks during the 2010 NBA Dunk Contest were easily outshined by the sneakers worn by the contestants, particularly that of Lakers high-flyer Shannon Brown. He wore a sick pair of the Nike Zoom Kobe V iD with a colourway voted in by fans, but had the online voting not occurred, Brown was set to wear the above pictured colourway of the Kobe VPE. At this point, there seems to be no story behind the choice of colors; the turquoise sole, blue midsole, silver/black upper, and red lining have no connection with his Michigan State alma mater, nor do they pay homage to his Lakers team. Brand Jordan will release the "Air Jordan Slam Dunk Championchip Pack",Consisting of the Two shoes he wore during the "Slam Dunk Contest" which were the Wht/Blk/& Red"AJ 2's"(obviously) & the Wht/Red 3's.
