With the Air Jordan Olympic 7's releasing tomorrow I thought what better time to remind you how classic/exclusive these shoes are. These are the shoes Mike wore while leading the "Dream Team" to the Gold in the 1992 Olympics. Did you know that the "Dream Team" went undefeated? & they did this without ever using one single timeout. The most exclusive feature on the shoe to me is the number '9' on the back. When have U ever seen a official pair of Jordan's that didn't have '23' on it?. I Loved them in 92, I Loved them in 2004, & I Love them in 2010. Now that's true Love!!.

After a moth of speculation Nike has the confirmed the release date of the "For The Love of The Game" Air Jordan Olympic 7's. They will release next week Friday August 13,2010 & will retail for $150.

This Just In: The classic Air Jordan Olympic 7's are being pushed back from there August 7,2010 release date to August 13 (or 14th) 2010, to coincide with the "Dream Team" being inducted into the Hall of Fame. It was initially going to be a oversea's release on the 7th however the U.S. has spoken & we will see these released in the states. These will be a "SUPER LIMITED" release so start checking with your most exclusive spots because it's gonna take some planning. Stay tuned for more info as it comes in.

The way that Brand Jordan (BJ) has been droppin "O.G.'s" I can't say that I'm too surprised about this one. The classic Air Jordan "Olympic" 7's will drop as a part of the "For The Love of The Game" collection. Nike is getting ready for the "World Basketball Festival" which will take place in "NYC" from August 12-15. This will be preparation before the "FIBA World Championship" which is considered as prestigious as the "Olympic Basketball Tournament".

Hence the "Olympic 7's" return just in time! (well at least for the "Team Jordan" player's). These shoes are "Top 5"(IMO) Holy Grail Status!!!. That's why I decided to rock them to the "Funk Flex Show" last month. I'm gonna be all over this release, they drop in Japan August 7,2010. So we should see them around Fall!. Were talking about a pair of Air Jordan's with the number 9 on them, Crazy!!. Aside from making history by going undefeated, & beating teams by a average of 48 points per game (while Never using a time out...Real Talk!!). I remember watching the "Barcelona Olympics" watching Mike telling myself "These were one of the Freshest sneakers I had ever seen!". This was when I said "I need a pair of the for back to school!". By September they were all gone but that's when I decided to go with the (Raptors) blk/red/purp colorway. I always still wanted a pair & in 2004 my dreams came true!!.lol 4 Real Though...

In commemoration of the greatest basketball team ever formed Nike is releasing a pair of "Barcelona" inspired hybrids.
